Workshop on Better Practices for Math on the Web
From Better Practices
[edit] MAA Carriage House Conference Center
July 15-21, 2007

In this workshop we brought together leading developers of mathematics materials on the web. Our focus was on MathML, using LaTeX together with MetaPost graphics, and methods for embedding live and scalable two-and three dimenional graphics. In addition we discussed reusability and accessibility, as well as the separation of content from presentation.
The workshop participants brought together a wide range of experience and expertise. We had some presentations, but most of our time was spent actually working on materials and serving as resource people for each other.
The workshop was sponsored by the MAA and was funded by NSF grant DUE-0231083. It took place at The Carriage House Conference Center at MAA Headquarters, 1529 18th Street, NW, Washington, DC
